Weekend Off
Unfortunately I wasnt paid on time so i wont be able to deposit until monday. However, I wont let this deter myself from improving so i've decided to take this time to read some of the great poker books.
I'll be starting with Harrington on Holdem & his cash game books. My main focus will be on MTT strategy althogh cash is also up there....the reason?
Im unable to play poker (my jump in the AP freeroll tonight if i find time) so I want to arm myself for monday, on monday i'll be aiming to build fast, I dont want $1k+ etc, But i want to get myself in a position where I can play MTT's for around 5% of my BR. The aim being to become a "Tournament Player" this means I can pick 1 or 2 tournaments a night to begin with after some nice cashes i'll lower this to 1 or 2 a week, meaning I can get my poker fix whilst spending alot of time with the kids etc.
Time to get to the reading, cant keep harrington waiting

tino11 (Ace high flush) wrote Saturday, September 26, 2009 at 8:02 am:Good luck with that one kidda, seems a reasonable expectation to me if you are prepared to grind it out and get past the donk fest that is the 1st hour. I love MTT, but dont always have the time to play them, or the stamina, lol.
Best of luck anyway, its not easy balancing family and poker all the time.
