Apple Pie Poker Revolution skin closed

11 months ago at 6:09 pm

I have received the following email from Casino Lunch, the website that is operating the online poker platform Apple Pie Poker and that recently hosted an event of the Online Forum Challenge:

Email June 27th

Dear ___,

This email is to let you know that OrientPlay Ltd., the owners of Casino Lunch and Apple Pie Poker, have had their Cake poker site on Apple Pie Poker closed due to non-payment.

Please be aware that you can no longer play poker on the Cake site at Apple Pie Poker.

In addition, many of their staff have been let go without payment.

We urge extreme caution when dealing with this site as their financial health and long term success are both in question. There have been no incidents of players not being paid, but be warned that this is always a possibility when online casino sites run into financial difficulties.

___

I was able to log into the Revolution (formerly known as Cake) software client and transfer the money to the main casino balance. I would urge every Pokerspace member who has money on there to do the same as possible.

__

update Email June 28th:

Dear all Players

I hope this email finds you well.

I am making reference to the recent correspondence sent to you by Gian Perroni, who claimed to be Casino Lunch ex Affiliate Director.

Please be advised, that Gian Perroni was never a part of Casino Lunch, and provided only a small part of the services, which we found unsatisfactory.

I therefore had to let Gian go, and this has caused a frustration and anger from his end. He used Casino Lunch database, and forwarded an email with false information included.

Casino Lunch is fully operational, players are being paid regularly and we have no problems with liquidity. I would like to assure you that both your funds and your games played are safe and checked by the Lottery and Gaming Authority, Malta, Europe.

More! We will soon be adding a new product, Multimillion Lottery Games, which will give you an opportunity to play Lottery, Keno, Bingo, Video Poker and other, and win our Huge 2 million and 5 million JackPots! Stay Tuned!

Should you have any further questions related to this subject, please do not hesitate to contact me, Nick Adams, Casino Manager by writing to care@casinolunch.com

Ensuring you our continued business.

Warm regards,

Nick Adams

Casino Lunch Manager

Well it would appear you were led up the garden path, so to speak. I am glad that bankrolls appear to be unaffected at this time, whilst elsewhere, it would appear that bankrolls are not so safe. Maybe you should make members aware of that?

This blog is specifically about the situation at Apple Pie Poker because they recently hosted an OFC and thus we may have quite a few members who have money on there.

You could add Hollywood poker to that. It has migrated its players over to RedKings, so hopefully bankrolls are safe. Also, 5050 poker has been given the boot from Microgaming and is considering going into liquidation. Player rolls there are under threat.
Also, Shuffle Master have pulled out of a deal to purchase the Ongame Network which is home to RedKings, but the network is still for sale.

I take that attitude with every site, but that's just me.
