A few members already knew about it, but I better also post a blog that I wont be as much on the forums as I usually em. The reason behind this is a trip to Las Vegas from June 30th to July 17th - a friend of mine won a WSOP ME Package through the Everest Poker WSOP Steps and to even sweeten that up, Everest puts an additional 1k USD on top so he can enjoy the trip to Sin City together with a friend. Fortunately for me and unfortunately for a very good friend, the foreseen buddy was not able to make it because the travel agency blew up the reservation and he would have to pay much more just because he had to book 1 single day later. I grabbed my Visa Card and booked the flight directly online via the US Airways website and will be on my way to the airport in approximately7 hours from now on.

Although Vegas is the ultimate experience, the trip over there might be best described as nightmare, well serves me right to live far away from bigger airports lol. In total, I will have a nice round trip of 23 hours (departure from home by train until arrival at McCarran Airport), but its well worth the hassle as I will have the pleasure to meet 2 of my online divas, sadieaces and vger76 and also Steve lol . Still havent packed my bag yet, I got an urgent translation to be finished by tomorrow and I wont go to bed, risking to miss the train to the airport.

I was already at Vegas in 2007, where I cashed in one of the small 1.500$ WSOP tourneys (was part of a package that I won on http://888.com) and it was a helluva fun time over there. This year I dont intend to play in the WSOP, but having such a chance to fly over that cheap and also meet my 2 lovely online divas for the first time in real life was on my to-do list. It is surprising on how online poker connects people from all over the world and I am looking forward to it. At Vegas itself, I will try to relax and chill out a bit, meet some online buddies and perhaps also play some tourneys in the casinos on the Strip, not to forget of course also the opportunity to go shopping in the Malls and Outlet Stores . As I know myself, I will also try to get in touch with old and new business contacts as thats one of the most important things nowadays and maybe I will also be able to get a Press Pass for the WSOP ME - have to report about my german buddy anyway for a german forum though and will also try to post some updates and eventually picture galleries of the Vegas trip.

I would like you lot not to drive Michelle insane by the time I am away, I will have my laptop over there but am not sure on how many times a day I will have a quick look on the forum - if there is something urgent, I will try to reply to pm's within 1 day though. Very best of luck at the tables, I think the first 2 PSOP Events are also on the schedule by that time.
