Hey Pokerspacer’s the new Crew Cup is just around the corner and this is gearing up to be an amazing event. Please find details posted below…

Crew Cup:

The Crew Cup is essentially a poker league spanning over three months. However instead of a traditional league for individuals this is a team based league. All crews will compete in a series of weekly tournaments over the course of three months leading up to the Crew Cup Final. Card Player Cruises, Carbon poker, and yours truly is giving you the chance to win 6 all expenses paid trips abroad Card Player Cruises’ 7 night Mexican Riviera Cruise at the end of November. Your crew will have from July 2 to September 27 to qualify for the Crew Cup Final, which will be held on October 12.

Qualifying:

In order to qualify your crew will need to earn Crew Cup Points. Crew Cup Points are awarded based on your team’s performance in each event. The Top 3 Crews at the end of each month will be given a seat into our Crew Cup Final.

Crew Cup Points:

In a Crew Cup event the rank of the top three finishers in each crew will be added up. The winning Crew will be the one that has the lowest total. Example: Two crews competing in a Tournament:

Top 3 Crew A finishers: 17th 25th 36th = 78

Top 3 Crew B finishers: 1st 60th 117th = 178

Crew A will finish in 1st and Crew B will finish in 2nd. Crew Cup Points: Each participating crew will earn crew Cup points. In this case 2 crews were competing so the 1st place crew (the one with the lowest total rank) will earn 2 Crew Cup Points. 2nd Place crew would earn 1 Crew Cup Point.

Crew A receives: 2 Crew Cup Points

Crew B receives: 1 Crew Cup Point

The Crew Cup will be held exclusively on Carbon Poker. If you do not have an account please create one by clicking here. If you have an existing account you can still participate!

Twice a week we will hold Crew Cup Events

1. Wednesday $5 small buy-in. All money will go towards the prize pool and Pokerspace is also throwing in a $50 000 Freeroll seat to the winner!

2. Sunday $500 Freeroll

Remember in order to qualify for Crew Cup Points you need to have at least 3 members playing in the events.

Hey Bluffy- Top crews this month are not associated with this promotion. This Crew Cup kicks off in July so it will be a fresh start for everyone.

thank you guys for the site, i think it's a genius idea to give players a place to chat, meet and talk about poker....

1 suggestion for you crews, get to walker and play some ( freerolls $50.00 start every 4 hours ) and build a bank, so ya don't feel left out on Wendesdays (if ya don't have the funds to deposit) plus it's a good oppertunity to learn the site. best of luck to all
