Poker office gets great reviews on deuces cracked. In my experience though, you can't go wrong with Poker Tracker 3. It is suchs a detailed program, you can do pretty much anything you desire. |

Office is good (I have a license with them this year), but Tracker cover alot more sites (inc UB, AP, Betfair amongst others). Tracker gets the nod from me, hence why I've taken out their trial, and will purchase when I can :) |

JDawg said: Errrmmmm, whats the point of working or going to school? Tracking software is essential for a serrious player. It will record all your cash game and S&G tourneys you play and will calculate your winrate for you show your profits and loses aswell as producing a graph to show what happening to your money over time. Also you can review all hands youve played, seeing which hands are profitable and not profitable from vaerrious posistions at the tables and from which you can make a few tweaks to your game and plug any leaks you may have (that you would know about if you didnt use tracking software) Also it saves stats on your opponents so if your playing the same game regulary you can use the stats to help tell you the tendencys of your opponents play, which makes obusing there style alot simpler. In the hand replayer you can review sessions and write more detailed note than you would be able to in real time. Shall i go on? Or are you starting to get the idea? AS for calculators.... Well tbh i think there pointless unless you arnt compentent at doing basic maths or have a hard time with numbers. |

Hold'em Manager FTW. PT3 is easier to use, but HEM has the same functionalities and gives more information, has more specific filters, and will actually cockslap donkeys for you. OK, maybe not that last one, but it's the top of the line, and $10 cheaper than PT3. |

Just because someone says a good VP$IP & PFR for a cash game is 11.37/10.98 doesnt mean you should also try and have 11/10 stats. and thats just one exarmple of many... But i know what you mean...if your stats where 13/6 well simpley put youd be calling to much preflop and not raising enough. |

thank you all for the input I will look into HEM, currently I just use PT3. As far as the calculator thing, the software in question offered both so I kind of just included it in the title. I suppose though having exact odds instantly makes your joba little easier and could sway a decision or two, never personally used one though. |
