As the title of the poll and thread says, we would like to know whether to continue the Crew Battle in the current format and for Points only next month as part of a team competition or not. Since September has 5 weekends again, this poll will run for the next 7 days and we will go with the majority voting.

We are currently discussing potential ways to improve this promotion, however if members wish to play next month as well to "stay competitive", we will request the games as usual for Sundays at 1.05pm EST in September.

Please only vote if you are playing or considering to compete in the Crew competition, thank you in advance for your feedback.

The poll will run for almost one week still. And why are you cheering if you actually voted with "no" in this poll?

This vote will end in yes, because the people that want to play will most likely be the only ones that vote. You should say if you get x amount of players then you will run it... except ice for some odd reason.

I like the idea to keep playing until some changes are made!

My feelins is if you dont have at least 7 crews interested its a waist of time so what is that 42 players?

To be honest. I think that the Crew Cup is encouraging cheating by using the chat feature. I really enjoyed the CC when it was for that Vegas trip. But I am hearing more and more now about collusion and the chat feature. It was once only a PokerSpace thing with the CC but then a couple of other forums follwed suit. And so many players are being caught using chat to dominate tables. Not cool. Poker is not a team sport and was never meant to be a team sport. Even though the CC was a blast. :)

1. do u really think no one came up with the idea to work together and cheat before the crew cup? people who cheat will always cheat. thats for the poker room to police.

2. i think the aspect that made the crew so great, and this is my opinion, was the team play. i understand poker is not a team sport, no one is trying to make it such. this is one style, something to break up the routine and be different. this is basically the same principle as the DH rule in AL baseball. in the end its still baseball.

3. i have seen on tv an event that was team based, it had a single table where there were two teams present, i believe it was 3 v 3, except for collusion, it is just like the crew cup. however if its two teammates in a hand, they r obviously going to soft play each other, so whats the harm in knowing the others cards? collusion or not, poker can be pretty fun when played as a team sport, imo.

Just my honest opinion. And to the ones that never did think of it. It sure opened so many more eyes.
