Yeah Vegas looks good on the strip. The hotels are top notch to stay in and the food is really really good. Its one of the only places I think you can get a genuine lobster dinner for less than $20.00 a plate. As soon as you start wandering into the suburbs though, you will find Las Vegas is a dirty town full of poverty, almost solely run by illegal immigrants. If you ever have to stay there for an extended period of time, you will find quickly that it's glamor tarnishes immediately off the strip.

Going there for a vacation is great! but beyond that it is just another mud hole in my opinion.

read my comments on there..he has left his team in great hands (notnow) and was taken over by a real gent and one of Ps's finest player's (pachuko aka tBc)..

I lived in Vegas... it's a great city. Yeah there are seedy areas and seedy people, but it's a great city and easy to navigate. Even if by bus. Poker all hours of the night, food, women, drinking, whatever, whenever.

If it's late and you want a decent meal, stop by the Excalibur for $7 steak dinners. Check out the Crazy Pineapple tourney on Sundays at Mandalay Bay. For a cheap Hold'em Tourney, Sahara has a $45 buy-in daily at 11a, 7p, and 11p.

I miss Vegas, but school needs to be finished. I hope to go back for a quick trip later this year.
