Soccer AM/PM

Though Barca and Messi looked pretty good the other night too.

Well, we're approaching the business end of the season and here in england it's a 3-way battle for the top between United, Chelsea and Arsenal. Some vital games coming up for United, we've got Liverpool this weekend and Chelsea in a couple of weeks. The form is good as our humbling of Milan shows, and surely we are the club to fear both at home and in Europe. The Rooney/Valencia combo is working beautifully. Valencia would be my player of the season if it weren't for Rooney, who must be the outstanding candidate for world and european player of the year if his form continues.

yes Simon lol, I seen it and it was disgusting, that wasnt the only hilarious mistake ... i think it was like 5-6 retarded situations - e.g. one from that poor underdog got the red card for a foul early 2nd half and for exactly the same a guy from the other team (that won 5-0) didnt even get a yellow card in first half!

It is the strangest "goal" I've ever seen. I'm sure Zed must've seen it. How come none of the players/management/fans get in the ref's/linesman's faces to complain?

I spent some time in France last year. The main downside was having to watch the french coverage of the Olympic Games. Fencing (whoopie doo), a bronze, or was it silver in Judo and that was about it. Oh, I'm forgetting the one event they dominated from start to finish - Handball. I kid you not.

what a nightmare of a match at Nürnberg from both teams ... even the home fans moaned and showed their team what they thought about their squad ... and after a kinda dumb mistake very early we have never been able to score the equalizer -.- got denied one goal due to offside, was close but correct ... and one penalty should have been given in the middle of the 2nd half

must have been the worst Bundesliga match that I have ever seen live at a stadium ... none of the teams deserved a win there as both played totally crap, yet we managed to loose lol - the beer afterwards helped a bit though

73 minutes played in the EC final 2009 ... Germany vs England 5-2 so far ... for the WOMEN ;) hehe

im off to see the match Nürnberg vs Gladbach live @ the stadium, hopefully we can take it down as we have proven that the team is better than last season ... Nürnberg just moved up to 1st league - also, their keyplayer and captain in the defense aint allowed to play due to a red card after a zizou memorial "header" in a friendly match LOL

I second that Tino, i fdont either, and loved it, since Tim Lovejoy was there, he was a legend, not the same anymore, but still funny.
