Don't think the same after viewing the hand totally.
Preflop no aggresion. and post flop a very small bet. This way, any drawing hand will call you.
In my (simple) opinion, it would have been better to be more aggresive preflop, so you would have put yourself on a high card or pocket pair. After the flop, with the set made, you could be pushing it, but then the aggresor has to be you again. In this case, the agressor is the UTG+4. The rest is just calling.
When you made the push, the opp. could have been thinking you where trying to put him out of the pot, and tried to do the same with you.
But then again, who am I to judge :) Like yourself, I'm no poker pro myself either :)
