Hope that I would have played the hand the same as you in that situation. I like the min raise from UTG as probably only a bigger pair is likely to raise in that instance. I can only think he thought you were at it, thinking that you were thinking others would be tight on the bubble and that his his ace high would be good!!! He probably thought that you would slow play a 10 and had put you on a big ace (but smaller than his). I would suggest that he mis-read the situation and got lucky!

are u serious, i think...no i know if i went all-in pre-flop he would have called me with eaze just like he did on the flop,just by the way he played the hand after the flop...

tell me suthin ,why would i risk it all pre flop when there is no need to,if he pushes me allin preflop i dont call and its eazy to let go...

I agree completely with Egan. WOW is obviously a loose player. He also may have miss read you for just bluffing. Like Egan said you made the right move. And in the long run it will win you more money.

ps don't be results oriented, this play will make you money in the long run.

I would have just shoved preflop. people are scared on the bubble, and you are still a slight favorite to AK pre, and on a flop, you are a big favorite to win. When I see his AK, its a fist pump. nh

I know i should have folded but i just dont get why he calls here,because not only does he switch positions with me now he has to think if he makes it or not ........The small stack was higher than 3100...I just dont get it!!!
